His wife, Caroline (Karoline) Charlotte Bohm was born in Vehlingsdorff, Germany on June 6, 1830, and died in the Town of Berlin, Marathon Co., Wisconsin, U.S.A. on January 27, 1898. The couple was married in Germany, before emigrating to the United States.
